DOCOMOMO Belgium and æ-LAB of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel jointly organize this lecture by the Swiss architect and professor at the Ecole Fédérale Polythechique at Lausanne. His expertise on post?war heritage and his restoration of the Cité du Lignon in Geneva were recently rewarded with the Europa Nostra award.

This lecture is part of a series of 4 lectures organized by DOCOMOMO Belgium on the theme of ‘Conservation as Innovative Practice’, treatment organized in 2013 and 2014. This first lecture is supported by the Innoviris Strategic Platform Brussels Retrofit XL.

 

The Cité du Lignon is the most ambitious and large-scale of all housing projects in Switzerland. Its heritage value is giving protection on an urban scale and recommending the preservation of the whole site and its remarkable outdoor areas.
