International Week on Preventive Conservation, Maintenance and Monitoring of Monuments and Sites on 23-25.01.2013

The Raymond Lemaire International Centre for Conservation (KU Leuven) is pleased to invite you to the International Week on preventive conservation, maintenance and monitoring of the monuments and sites as a result of the recent PRECOM³OS UNESCO Chair prolongation. The International Week will examine the ongoing research and polemics on preventive conservation. Presently there are valuable and promising examples of preventive conservation of built cultural heritage that demonstrate the viability of this approach on local and international scale.

Lectures are foreseen on Wednesday 23rd and Thursday 24th of January 2013, followed by a one day workshop on Friday 25th.
