Call for Papers: Refurb of Iconic Reinforced-Concrete Structures

The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is calling for papers about refurbishing iconic reinforced-concrete buildings and structures, viagra buy other than bridges.
Engineering History and Heritage is planning a themed issue in 2015 on Refurbishing iconic reinforced-concrete buildings and structures.

Suitable subjects for inclusion in the themed issue are:

– techniques for assessing the nature and degree of decay and damage to reinforced concrete
– techniques for assessing and enhancing the strength of existing reinforced-concrete structures
– techniques for restoring or enhancing the appearance of exposed concrete
– techniques for restoring or enhancing the appearance of exposed concrete
– case studies of restoration of iconic reinforced-concrete structures addressing all the above

Schedule:
30th September 2014 – Deadline for abstract submission
28th February 2015 – Full papers submission
