Arthur Rüegg (1942) and Ruggero Tropeano (1955) are teachers, researchers, architects – but also passionate collectors. For decades, they have been collecting groundbreaking furniture and artifacts from the Modern Movement. This collection includes more than 280 objects from renowned designers such as Le Corbusier, Max Ernst Haefeli, Werner M. Moser, Gerrit Rietveld or Vasily Luckhardt. The Design Collection celebrates the donations of these high quality ensembles of furniture and outstanding individual pieces of modernism by the architects Arthur Rüegg and Ruggero Tropeano.
